I was told by a service advisor that I had a 3 year/100k mile transmission warranty after having the trans replaced under warranty. 16k miles later they tell me I have no warranty,charge me a 180 dollar diagnostic fee and tell me that there is metal on the transmission dipstick. When I checked for myself that is not the case there is no metal. They were very quick to qoute me $8000 dollars to replace the trans which would come with said 3 year/100k mile warranty. Why would I trust that yall would warranty my trans now after not honoring the last warranty. Lastly my transmission was replaced without replacing the torque converter at 128k miles which every mechanic I've spoken with has said was a bad decision they need to be replaced together. When I mentioned that I got little to no response. I believe that if things were handled differently in the beginning I would not be having transmission issues right now and it would be nice if they honored my warranty

The communication is good. I really like the updates on the text. However, I asked for a quote for bumper trim and got a quote for hood trim. Need both, but asked about the bumper. We have also had 5 sensors replaced and apparently I will be getting #6 since the Check Engine light is back on 2 days after service. I wonder how many sensors are on a 2013 GMC?

Worst experience ever!! Was hounded for years concerning my open recall on my tailgate switch, well finally made an appointment over the phone for a week out, its a 60+ mile one way trip for up to drive. Got to the dealership early and say outside for about 15 minutes before the service writer Ryan Hopes came and received our truck, He then FORGED my signature on the repair order releasing them from any damage and allowing them to drive my vehicle as needed. The truck never entered the bay and he came up to the desk and told the other service writer that the parts were NOT IN STOCK FOR MY TRUCK and that I would need to bring back the next day. WHAT A JOKE, you make an appointment for an open recall and you drive almost 2 hours and then they tell you they don't have your part in stock. The other service writer told him to call around town and see if they could find one for my truck. I went and talked to the parts manager and he claimed they just took one out of inventory, found out it was someone elses part for their truck and they put it on mine. What a joke of a dealership and service center. We will NEVER buy another vehicle from this dealership again. My daughter bought a 2021 GMC Denali just months before we got out special order Sierra 2500, This is the 3rd strike against this dealership, I've reported them to GMC and filed a complaint against them, waiting on response from GMC and will follow up on our complaints. The owner Mr. Brown (first compliant) on down was terrible. The only department willing to assist us that day was the sales department. We went and had a conversation with the so called owner Mr. Brown who seemed to care less about our problems and his office didn't look like an owners office they could have sent us to the janitor for all we know.

Oil changes will take an hour or more with a tire rotation. When you arrive, it is a "check-in" time! There may be customers arriving right before you with earlier "check-in" times. I arrived 30 minutes ahead of appointment schedule. When I arrived, I was not greeted at my vehicle as normal. All the service staff seemed to be extremely busy and preoccupied at their individual computers. After I had exited my truck and stood adjacent in front of the service counter, Tim came to assist me. It took from 08:45am to 10:30am to get a nail removed from rear right tire and for it to be patched. I had to walk from the customer’s waiting area to the service advisor area to inquire about my truck. I dropped my 2017 GMC Sierra off for an oil change and to get 4 new tires installed. All 4 of my TPMS were working. After the work was completed they notified me that the front left battery had died. The TPMS had no issue prior to the work and they had been replaced a few years back. I was not able to get it resolved that day as I had already filled out a check for the quoted work to be completed. The service advisor said they would work with me on the work but nothing was acted on. Upon picking up my truck the Key to my wheel locks was missing and there was confusion on if the one they gave me was the right one. A tech came with me to make sure. Its been exactly a week and today while out running errands my front right tire ran flat. I got it home to inspect and found nothing as far a puncture but after checking all of my tires they all are out different pressures some of which are higher than the recommended pressure rating. This is one of the many issues I have now experienced with the service department.

I do not understand why we even make appointments. It should not take 2 hours to change oil. On another note, your clients should NOT be told they are getting worked on at that moment ..when you look up and they are finally going to get your vehicle from outside! ( 1 hr and 25 min later before they start) I personally had an appointment at 11, arrived at 1052. The lady in the waiting room, a 84 yoa had been there since 920! When she checked on vehicle they told her it was having the oil changed....3 hours later. This is NOT the first time appointments are extended to 2-3 hours. It's just not reasonable. Tell your clients upon arrival..."sorry we are catching up from from Saturday....we are running way behind ..it's going to be a while". Don't take the vehicle with appointment and walk away and do other vehicles in between. Have your staff check on clients in the waiting room every 30 minutes. Explain the delay. Truck had an oil change and tire rotation early last week. Problems with the electrical system and brakes resulted in visit Friday morning. Hooked up to computer which showed no particular problem, check engine light was off, so I drove it home. Saturday morning while driving the engine shut down and would not restart. Called OnStar and got it towed in. Tow truck driver said the serpentine belt was shredded. Went in Monday morning and dropped off the keys. Got a phone call confirming that the belt was shredded and got a quote of $300+ for replacement and asked that the work be done. Got a later call that the truck was ready. Picked up the truck and got a bill for $611. When I asked what happened to the previous quote I was told there was a charge for "diagnostics". Not what I expected. Not what I am used to at Brown-Wood. Will be looking for another repair facility.

Check in was smooth and without issue. After that I waited for about 90 minutes in the waiting area at which time I was wondering what was taking so long. So I texted the service coordinator to ask if they had an estimated time of completion. In about 5-7 minutes the service coordinator come to get me saying that my truck was complete, which was a good thing. However, it was a little uncharacteristic to not receive a response to my text. Nevertheless my truck was finished. Upon arriving home from the dealership i notice a couple of things. My valve cap on one tire was not present and there was no dated or mileage based sticker on the windshield. This seems as not a big deal but it leads me to pose the question, what else may have been left undone. That remains to be seen thus far.
