The 2024 Yukon XL offers multiple trim levels with three engines among them. The base engine is a 277-horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel I6 that produces 460 pound-feet of torque. While that’s enough to satisfy the average driver, you can find more muscle in the intermediate engine, a 5.3-liter that delivers 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Then, there’s the strongest engine, a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 with 460 pound-feet of torque.

Trail-Tackling Versatility

Off-road trails and slippery roads are easily tackled with this SUV’s optional four-wheel drive, which comes standard with select trims. You can also take versatility up a notch with options like an electronic limited-slip differential for extra traction when you need it and a two-speed transfer case for switching between multiple four-wheel-drive modes.

Comforts and Luxuries

Known for its luxury and large cabin, this edition accommodates up to nine passengers and has more cargo space than the regular Yukon, with an extra 16 cubic feet available behind the third-row seat. It also comes standard with power windows, tri-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats, and, in select upper trims, heated and ventilated front seats as well as heated second-row seats.

The Yukon XL also has a longer body size compared to the Yukon, and its design is both stylish and ready for adventures with standard roof-mounted side rails for, black assist steps, body-color heated power side mirrors, Rainsense automatic wipers, and LED taillamps, headlamps, and fog lamps. The available panoramic power sunroof, power-retractable assist steps with LED perimeter lighting, and hands-free power liftgate provide plenty of convenience, and the many wheel options range in size from 18 to 22 inches.

Tech for All Occasions

Among this SUV’s many impressive tech highlights, you’ll love the GMC Premium Infotainment System, which comes with a 10.2-inch diagonal touchscreen display. Other standard offerings include a 12-inch instrument cluster behind the wheel, GMC Connected services, a Wi-Fi hotspot, both 12- and 120-volt power outlets, and USB ports in the front and rear of the cabin. The available ProGrade Trailering System makes hitching and towing simpler, and select upper trim levels come with a 15-inch diagonal multicolor head-up display.
