North Carolina Inspections
North Carolina requires safety inspections annually and emissions inspections in 22 counties. Pitt County, where we’re located, does not, and the counties of Lee, Onslow, and Rockingham won’t as of November 1, 2022.

Specific vehicles are also exempt from inspection, including diesel vehicles, light-duty vehicles less than three years old or having fewer than 70,000 miles, and any vehicle registered for farm use or older than 20 years old.
